AssistMe is improving care through innovation. We are the largest driving force for technical innovation in elderly care, which enables more normality and humanity in old age. To fulfil this vision, the first solution we are developing is an intelligently-connected incontinence pant for elderly people. It can detect the amount and type of excrement in real time. If certain threshold values are exceeded, a recommendation for action is sent to nursing staff.

Our solution will minimize incontinence-related medical issues, help people in need of care to regain their dignity, and reduce unnecessary costs for families, care institutions, and insurers while decreasing stressful work for healthcare workers.

Goals

You will be expected to own the administrative efforts and work closely with everyone at AssistMe (e.g. Management, Marketing, HR, Operations, Finance) to develop and support well-structured, operational processes to help ensure smooth daily operations. 

You’re the type of person who thrives on taking care of things the right way the first time. A task comes in and you figure out how to get it done without having to ask a lot of questions. When you say “I’ll take care of it,” we know it’ll be done well.

Your tasks
  • Admin: provide administrative support to the director and the team

  • Command Center: be the commander in charge of a smooth sailing ship–our office. You will help facilitate day-to-day operational office functions and activities necessary to ensure an effective and efficient daily routine

  • Financial: support accounting, documentation activities and payroll

  • Marketing: support marketing duties such as event organization and social media marketing

  • Research: conduct non-technical research and produce reports

  • Team: book travels, arrange team events
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in an executive support or office administration role; startup experience is a huge plus

  • Fluency in English and German (you’ll be communicating with our partners and other German authorities)

  • Prior event management experience is an advantage

  • Very good MS-Office knowledge

  • A positive “can do” attitude, proven time management skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills w/ attention to detail

  • A keen interest in technology and/or healthcare is a big plus
