At NBT, we deliver cross-industry, IoT and blockchain based solutions to our ventures. These solutions range from public informational websites to service-oriented backend dashboards, to end-user mobile applications. 


As a Sr. User Experience Designer in NBT's core Marketing Team, you will be helping NBT’s growing ventures to simplify, streamline, and improve the usability of the applications their customers and clients use. You will be working with seasoned business leaders, engineers, product managers, and technology experts to deliver great user experiences.

Your tasks
  • Ensure product design decisions are centered around human needs, based on research & observation, and translation of uncertainty and ambiguity into actionable user-experience recommendations and ideas

  • Research and analyze industry strategies as well as assess competition and recommend accordingly

  • Prepare and document empathy maps, service blueprints, user flow diagrams, process flows etc to help in developing the concepts

  • Develop quick, interactive, low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, information-architecture diagrams, interaction specs that explain your user-experience recommendations, followed by high-fidelity prototypes for production execution

  • Communicate desired recommendations and design specifications to development teams by providing the appropriate design deliverables and specs

  • Design for mobile, tablets or desktop applications following some of our internal design conventions

  • Work closely with our product managers and the design, engineering and marketing team in terms of planning (both Agile and Waterfall) to provide scope

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in user experience design

  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial design, Product design, Engineering or equivalent qualification

  • Excellent knowledge of contemporary design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite etc

  • A proven track record, preferably shown with a portfolio, of working from concepts or prototypes to finished product

  • basic knowledge of front-end programming languages and tools (HTML, CSS, and Javascript)

  • Hands-on experience in designing for the web as well as native applications (iOS/Android)

  • Love working both on physical and digital products
