METR is one of the inital NBT AG supported ventures.
We provide conscious IoT solutions - including hardware and software - that enable use cases for building technology automation and smart home applications. We enable the interoperability of different technological systems in buildings through a local IoT-network, which integrates tech-solutions with different IoT protocols into an open system.
Your tasks
  • Create schematics of digital circuits
  • Perform work in all phases of the hardware product development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, implementation and verification. 
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve HW products and the HW development process
  • Maintain knowledge of trends in computer engineering and new technology
Requirements
  • Must have:
    • Very good knowledge in formal HW development process
    • Very good knowledge in the HW design of embedded analog/digital modules, subsystems, and systems using embedded microprocessors
    • Great diagnostic, debug and troubleshooting skills 
    • Strong startup spirit and love for dynamic work environments
  • Nice to have: 
    • Experience in writing firmware and testing applications for own hardware (C/C++).
    • Experience with projects involving IoT protocols and sub-GHZ wireless communications
